Stephanie Angelides is an award winning Executive Producer who has developed, sold and produced series across the cable and broadcast landscapes. President of the newly formed Riot Creative, she will be helping to build a robust slate of original series for the Leftfield Entertainment brands.
Stephanie previously oversaw all North American development for Optomen Productions and One Potato Two Potato and created original series for Investigation Discovery, Food Network, Animal Planet, NatGeo Wild, Lifetime, and Discovery Channel. Across her six-year tenure as a development executive she helped create the Mysteries brand (Travel Channel), Scorned: Love Kills (I.D.), One Bad Choice (MTV), and Best New Restaurant (Bravo) to name a few.
Before focusing on development Stephanie was previously a producer on series such as Most Evil on Discovery Channel and Evolve for History Channel, for which she received an Emmy nomination.
Stephanie attended Butler University for her undergraduate degree and went on to earn her master’s at the Medill School of Journalism. Stephanie started her career in sports broadcasting before moving into news. She paid her dues working on a morning talk show as a runner before moving up the ranks to writer. Eventually she worked her way into cable television production and has never been happier.
